Meet our staff
The staff at Naples Safari Animal Hospital and Pet Resort are all pet lovers themselves. Their
goal is to provide the best of service to our clients, and treat each and every pet like a member
of their family.
Shannon Windsor is a native Neapolitan. Animals have always been part of
Shannon's life from her pets, to her 4H activities, to her compassionate care
for all of our patients. Shannon, her husband and daughter live in Golden
Gate Estates with their 3 dogs - Rocco, Sable & Willa, horse, Maximus and
chickens. Shannon has been a veterinary nurse for over 15 years.
|George Mosley moved to Naples with his partner from Hillsdale, Michigan
through Fort Wayne, Indiana in 2003. When not taking care of our clients,
George enjoys fishkeeping, computers, & bowling as well as spending time
with his dog, Poncho and cat Benny. George manages the front staff and is in
charge of vendor purchases.
Sharon Cline moved from Michigan to Naples in 2003. She enyoys
relaxing with friends and beach time. Sharon lives in Bonita with her
husband, Scott,dog - Toby, and two cats - Jackson & Max. Sharon works
on our front desk.
Brigette Baker moved all the way from Lewisburg, Pa.
(We are Penn State!) with her husband, two snakes, two fish and her
curmudgeon of a dog, Malaki. Since that time her family has grown with
the addition of a playful dachshund named Abigail, and recently, an
abused pup that she fell in love with at our hospital named Kita. She
enjoys anything that has to do with nature and the outdoors and has 2
diverse passions - Science and Art. In addition to working in the
veterinary hospital, Brigette is persuing a BA in Art at FGCU. Brigette
works as a veterinary nurse and at our front desk.
Francisco "Paco" Torres was born in Orlando and grew up in Naples
where his passion for animals was nurtured raising goats and chickens
at his grandparents house. Paco lives with his brother Nick who also
works at Naples Safari, and has a younger brother who goes to school
in Miami. In addition to working at Naples Safari, Paco is a full time
student at Florida Southwestern State College and hopes to eventually
enroll in a zoo technician program. Paco enjoys the beach, football,
bonfires and friends and spending time with his Doberman mix,
Ronan, and his Maine Coon kitten, Lily. Paco is on our resort staff.
DeEtta Woods was born and grew up in Morristown, Tennesee. Her
passion is her pets and it shows! DeEtta has a 3 year old Pit Bull named
Bella and her new addition is Jack, a Boston Terrier puppy. DeEtta
relocated to Southwest Florida with her husband of 19 years, Steve, who
she calls "the best husband in the world", and joined our staff in 2012.
Her past experiences include driving an 18 wheeler cross country. DeEtta
explains " Animals are so innocent, all they want to do is be loved.
Nothing beats seeing an animal happy and healthy!" She treats all of our
guests and patients with this caring and compassion. DeEtta is a
Co-manager of our resort facility.
Barbaro F. Fojon, Jr. aka "Frankie" marries his love for all creatures with
a great sense of humor and fun. He was born and grew up in Miami,
and has 4 younger brothers. When not taking care and entertaining our
Safari guests, he enjoys the beach, fishing , dog parks and longboarding.
Frankie now lives in Naples with his crime fighting partner, China, a Lab
Shar-pei mix. Frankie is the newest member of our Safari family and
works to insure our guests are having an enjoyable experience.
Nick Torres was born and raised in Naples. He started working at Naples Safari
in 2012 , and returned after living in Bavaria Germany for 1 1/2 years with
his wife, Janee, speaking fluent German. Nick loves animals and they love him.
with friends and spending time with his menagerie including 2 dogs - Everly
and Puppy, cat - Muchies , bearded dragons - Mushu and Falcor as well as fish.
Nick likes working with animals because ".. they dont complain; all they want is
for someone to show them attention and love." Nick is a Co-manager of our
Sarah Ricketts was born and grew up in Philadelphia. She has 13 plus
years in the animal care business, starting when she was 13 volunteering
at Akita and Pit Bull rescues. She has spent time working in kennels,
doing grooming, owned her own pet sitting business and has been
working in the dog daycare busness for many years. Sarah loves working
with animals because "they are sweet furry friends that love
unconditionally and bring a smile to my face." She is using her expertise
to manage our daycare area. Sarah is enjoying the Florida sunshine here
with her new dog friends, and at home with Lylah, a German Shepherd
mix and Lucy, a Westie.
Chelsea Fowler grew up in Naples, but lived in Bemidji, MN for 5 years where
named Sienna, and two cats, Arya and Sansa. Chelsea says that she loves
working with animals "because the represent everything that I aspire to be,
loyal and grateful for every moment on this earth. They desereve to have that
love, dedication and optimism returned every day." When not splitting time
loves to read, write and spend time with her pets. She has a special interest
in canine behavior and training and is a self- professed foodie.
